Ya, this is a new journal entry. The old was just that: old. Much too old, in fact. So this one is new. Newer than the old. There aren't many things in this world as new as this journal entry right now; why, as I write it, it's still not really in existence, so it's newer than the newest thing at the moment. If any of that makes sense.

School this year has been busy, and next year is only going to get busier. I've taken on so much in school, I fear next year will mean no life outside school. The only reason I fear this is because of my tendency to be lazy and to procrastinate...but, I always finish things on time, so I'm sure everything will turn out wonderfully.

That is, unless Canada suddenly becomes fascist. But I doubt this will happen anytime in the next year.

In more important news, my dad just revealed to me that we have a good camera. It uses film, however (with which, sadly, I am now unfamiliar), but I'm pretty excited that I might actually be able to take some nice artistic photographs sometime. I have yet to take some pictures and see the developped product, however.

I've been accepted for a summer work exchange to Québec to learn French while earning money. I'm really excited for that, and I plan to take the camera with me to capture some wonderful shots in that far-off province. If only I had known about this camera before I went to Europe...!!! Then maybe my "Against the Flow" shot would have turned out nicely.

Oh well.
